You can run green gas in it just fine, but it'll shorten the lifespan of the parts and you could have a catastrophic failure such as the slide cracking; but this is something that would happen over time, not after one mag.

If you live in a super hot place though like in the Midwest or Southern United States, then I would flat out just not use green gas in the Summer since the heat can increase the pressure that the gas is under and thus put more strain on the gun as a whole.

I've used a WE SCAR with a 'reflex sight' and it held zero just fine.
A t1 in a KWA MP7 worked fine for 13 hours and the only shift happened because I dropped it by mistake.

I'm not here to convince you or anyone else. If you want to blow 500+ extra in your kit, be my guest. Chinks work fine for me and I'll keep using them.

Since I actually have some stuff, i will give my experience with cheaper optics.

It requires for you to be specific when it comes to the optic, not in general.

Something like my Aimpoint M2 will not get loose, but it will shut off after a lot of shots.

Something like my Aimpoint T1 will hold on and not shut off, but will not hold zero for its life.

Something like my Aimpoint Comp M4 will hold zero and not shut off, but has issues staying on without loctite.

With loctite, it stays on like a pro, and serves me incredibly well, aesthetically and functionally.

When given the option to have a real Aimpoint Comp M4, would i jump at it?

Absolutely. They have far better glass, it isn't blue when you look through it, the killflash is stronger, from what you guys have said, it even has a better mount, and it has a extremely significantly far better battery life.

So yes, in the end, CERTAIN " airsoft" optics will hold against stronger firing GBBRs, but real steel optics will almost effectively all the time be a far, far better choice.

If you truly want me to post the other optics, i will do so when i get home in a few hours. Until then, have a picture of my Scar H.

Those holsters hold secondaries via pressure, right?

In my experience with my BladeTech FNH holsters, they are the absolute fucking BEST of both worlds.

They will hold your pistol under the worst circumstances yet will pull out and go in buttery smooth and lighting fast.

They don't wobble in the holster nor if you plan on using it on a dropleg platform, wobble there either. It fits incrediblebly well on my leg and looks more badass than those cheapo fabric universal holsters.


SafariLand has a extremely good reputation, so go for it anon, absolutely go for it, don't ever look back, best $75 i spent for airsoft ever.

You're going to want an M14, upgrading will be an easier task in general, and if shit breaks you can go damn near anywhere to get additional internal parts. Also magazine size is bigger, it's just an easier platform to actually play with. Mounting scopes isn't often a gigantic pain in the ass unlike on an M1.

The only reasons to get an M1 over an M14 is if you just like the rifle or prefer it to the M14, or if you're doing a kit that involves it. If you're looking at it from a purely objective stand point an M14 is the best choice.
