You ever wonder what the original plans for Steve Austin and Undertaker were for WrestleMania 16? Also, scrapped ideas thread.
maybe a stone cold heel turn
I heard that is always a good idea
I vaguely remember reading that it was going to be Austin vs Big Show, would have been shit, Austin/Gaytch/Rock and Taker/Show would have made the most sense.
Something I don't see talked about alot is that it was originally going to be Hogan/Savage at WM2 but he declined because the "Hogan vs giant" formula was still working and he thought he could make more money with him down the line. One of the few times Hogan helped someone out even though it was probably unintentional

2000 was doomed to be shit anyways, WWF was in the post Russo Attitude era but it still had some of his stench left in it at that time.

>2000

Best year in WWE history financially, in-ring, and entertainment-wise
>Chris Jericho was meant to be in that Fatal 4 Way Main Event but they replaced him with Mick Foley

>mfw they finally had tag teams doing entrances with each other

>mfw you figured out that you needed to make sure their entrance music was the same and then they'd walk out together
Eddie v Rey ladder match was originally for the custody of Sasha, with Rey in the heel role.

Bray vs Justin Bieber would be great
just watching the intro the wm2000 was better than the last decade of wrestling games.

It wasn't suit thoufh
That ladder match was goat. They hardcore match was fun. Jericho/angle/benoit was good too.

Better than 15 but worse than 17

austin/rock is better than anything at wm2000
>tfw can never play wm2000 again because Right Smarkbusters probably still jacks off to the 64 bit titantrons
