What did he mean by this?
Indie shit on the Network.

>>1897150

kurt comes back
>Some of you guys are alright. Don't go to RAW tomorrow.
Based Big Dog drafted to the goat show smackdown
probably nothing important, if it was hed actually say what it was so people would go to his website giving him shekels.
>>1897169
Tna is dead. All those wrestlers are unemployed now
>>1897168
I wouldn't worry about anyone going to Raw
So why don't they just say what is happening?
>>1897186
Muh buzz
>>1897186
I guess they can't announce Vince is dead before WWE actually release a press release.
>>1897167
based big dick Dave "marks are worst then nigger" Meltzer weighs in!
>>1897192
He didn't say it was worse. He said both are disparraging terms and idiots thought he said mark is worse
>>1897199
wtf i hate dave now
Dave still unironically uses the word colored for black people. Hilarious.
>>1897212
You want him to call them "Ameeicans of African descent", pussy boy?
Based Wade.
First news/podcast I started following when I got back into wwe, and one of the very few I still listen to.
>>1897199
Wtf when was this
>>1897181
KEK
Vince died
Tomorrow on RAW Shawn, Bret, and Earl will yell out "MONTREAL WAS A WORK!" as it fades to black
>>1897150
>>1897150
Vince decided to sell?
He was getting a few offers between 2012 and 2014 I think
>>1897169
Ward could probably get Roman over to be honest.
>>1897267
Why would Vince sell his entire life and reason for existence?
>>1897264
So indies on the network?
>>1897272
because smarks ruined it

Jasethy, Owenetty only account for 500k-800k tops.

>>1897503
kek the amount of problems with contracts, deals and red tape would be insane

Yeah, I can see why the average WWE fan would have a problem with the actual quality wrestling that ROH & LU produces.

>>1897517

>>1897507
>forgetting JeriGOAT
>>1897150
Vince finally fires the whole roster of both shows?
>>1897577
Why, so he can shitbook newer guys into irrelevance?
>>1897520
Of course not. Stamford Wives can only parrot what Vince tells them to.
>>1897173
Most likely this. It'll be some routine business type things, like ROH and PWG working together or some shit, and they're trying to hype it so that people will actually give a damn.
If it was ROH airing their shit on the WWE Network, or something huge like that, they'd be RUSHING to get that shit out and draw to their sites straight away.
>>1897274
Think it might be something like several "Indies" starting their own streaming service?
That'd be fucking sick, though I think doomed to failure through a bunch of contract/licensing bickering and the like.
ICW fear and loathing 9 on the network
>>1897611
Fuck off, your uk indie manlets are even worse than Americas

WWE announces they're pulling the plug on the network. Calling it.
Raw going 4 hours.
>>1897600
I've been saying this kind of thing for a long time: If NJPW, ROH, and CMLL (maybe with RevPro) were to start their own joint English language streaming service with subtitled promos and shit for the foreign stuff, they could become the closest thing WWE has to competition. Hardcore "MUH WRASSLIN IS A SERIOUS SPORT/ART FORM/ENTERTAINMENT MEDIUM" fans would flock to it, leaving WWE with nothing but the few remaining normies and the same people who still only watched WWE when WCW was pounding it in the ratings.
It's probably just WWE putting some indies on the Network though.
>>1897278
>Vince ruins professional wrestling
>"""""smarks ruined WWE""""""
So smarks are fixing wrestling?
BTW, there's only one definition for smark - someone who knows that wrestling is scripted but still enjoys it.
>>1897709
Isn't the Network making them a LOT of money?
>>1897730
>no one watches WWE and indy/foreign wrestling
>>1897709
Lol, gonna be literally the opposite.
USA probably low balled them on the new TV deal due to the declining ratings so tomorrow they'll announce that Raw and SD are moving exclusively to the network.
WWE will finally do as promised and introduce LGBT storylines and characters.
>>1897737
>USA low balling their highest rated show
I doubt that
>>1897729
I was thinking raw goes back to 2
>>1897151
garbage
>>1897737
Well intentioned thought. Maybe quicker turnaround for live shows to appear on the Network? Hopeful for that, personally.
If anything, USA has agreed to allow WWE to stream RAW and Smackdown LIVE on the Network, as long as it's a direct stream from USA Network, so USA Network still gets their ad dollars. Same with UK and Sky(?), Canada and Sportsnet.
>>1897760
Can only pray.
>>1897737
Take a minute to think about that prediction
You're gonna move your entire product behind a paywall that only your fans know about and would be willing to pay for, virtually guaranteeing that the company never creates another fan. How to Kill Your Billion Dollar Corporation in One Year or Less 101.
WWE will always be on free TV in some capacity or it would fucking die.
>>1897760
2 hour show with a post show called "Raw Talk" on the network where every wrestler gets to cut a promo on Mick and he just takes.
http://www.allwrestlingnews.com/wwe-news/wwe-making-major-changes-to-the-wwe-network/
Really makes me think
>>1897733
kek they're not even breaking even let alone making projections
ICW, Progress, EVOLVE and CMLL on the network. Working agreement with NJPW and ROH.
>>1898000
>and CMLL on the network. Working agreement with NJPW and ROH.
This is absolutely not happening.
>>1898002
i'll let tomorrow's news speak for itself (^:
>>1897503
I hope it is that, because I called that being the future of the WWE network about 9 months ago.
>>1897790
Nah man. The post-RAW show will be a porno with 2 random wrestlers called "Hit that shit RAW"
>>1898003
NJPW have outright said no before because they see it as a way of WWE finding out who people like so they can steal their talent.
>>1898040
Also because it would cost them thousands of Yen to rely on WWE Network royalties
When will WWE learn that indie shit isn't a fucking draw. Instead of paying indie companies, pay your fucking music licenses and put up unedited shows with real music. Thats how you get fucking subscribers. No one wants edited shit with edited down pops and revisionist wwe bullshit fucking everything up
1. On one hand being on the wwe network would get a lot of eyes on your product
2. On the other hand, you are now a slave to wwe and it's expanding monopoly over the wrestling world, you just know they will own all your footage, they will mess with your fed.
>>1897150
Montreal Screwjob was work
TNA Is starting its own Network you iditos.
>>1898249
They could call it TNAflix.
He's just being philosophical you idiots.
>>1898040
They already steal thier talent.
>>1898073
you think a significant amount of people really care about the music changes mate? Come on, other than maybe voodoo child I doubt any casuals give a fuck
>>1898390
They can't steal talent if their contract expire and they don't sign another one
>>1898291
I appreciate this reference

Nothing to see here

WWE Upset that the price for outlaw wrestling has now skyrocketed.
>>1898882
Vince SEETHING right now lol
>>1898887
If they want to really grab/maintain that hardcore smark audience now, looks like they gonna have to open up those pocket books more than before.
WWE played itself.
>>1897763
that would be best for all of us on the West Coast, finally can watch WWE live and one less reason to keep cable.
>>1898895
they already have 100% of the smark audience, I don't see how grabbing the indies will get them more subs than old episodes of 80's Superstars, ECW and Thunder.
Chikara got bought by WWE. They're gonna air a new show on the Network out of the new facility they bought close to Titan Tower. The deal was made when Mike Quackenbush was a guest trainer at the Performance Center.
>>1898077
>2. On the other hand, you are now a slave to wwe and it's expanding monopoly over the wrestling world, you just know they will own all your footage, they will mess with your fed.
That's not necessarily true, if it were to operate like a "Netflix of Wrestling", which is what Vince has planned ever since Netflix became big.
Netflix buys in existing content, old classics, AND makes its own stuff. Netflix has no say over the creative content of the new films it chooses to host on its streaming platform, if they are not Netflix Originals, however.
>>1898919
nice sources there, faggot
official press release:
http://www.flosports.tv/flosports-announces-five-year-agreement-with-wwnlive-to-live-stream-all-events-on-floslam-tv/
>FloSports today announced a five-year partnership with World Wrestling Network Live (WWNLive) to make FloSlam.tv the exclusive worldwide streaming partner of all WWNLive properties, including EVOLVE, SHINE, Full Impact Pro and WWN Supershow.
>The agreement begins Friday, Nov. 4, with live coverage of SHINE 38 from Ybor City, Fla. There will be live coverage of approximately 60 events annually on FloSlam as part of this deal.
>In addition to live coverage and replays of all future WWNLive promotions, FloSlam will host archives from all WWNLive events dating back to 2003 and will produce a series of original documentaries focusing on the lives and stories of the athletes who compete in pro wrestling events across the world.
>>1898882
In Outlaw terms thats like going from 10 grand to 30 grand. Its not like Vince would be investing millions in this pitiful shit.
>>1897789
>virtually guaranteeing that the company never creates another fan.
If fairness, they have already done that with their management of the product in the past decade.
>>1898976
LITERALLY WHO?
>>1898976
Flosports got scammed I think. All these Outlaw promotions combined draw less than Smackdown's viewership. These fanbases are really poor with low income jobs. Absolutely no mainstream exposure whatsoever and horrible bland flippy shit product that has no replay value. This Floslam thing is gonna fall flat on its face. No doubt about it.
Its the same with NJPW Network when it made into US, marks were like this is gonna be the biggest thing ever and shit. It has less than 20K subscribers after all these years.
WWE can't be hurt. Its the indy shitters who lost the opportunity and exposure that they could've gotten through WWE network.
>>1898976
kek, isn't Evolve boring as fuck? They have fucking Drew Gulak as champ or Tim Thatcher, I cant tell the fucking difference
>>1897150
Hideaki Anno will direct this last RAW.
>>1898976
Wow its fucking nothing
>>1899175
As typical of all indy and smark shit on the interner.
Unless it involves WWE, its almost always nothing.
>>1899018
So in other words nothing different the the shit they already show?
>>1898976
That's it?
Lel, more like FlopSlam
