The gap between Hogan & HHH in terms of "technical wrestling" isn't as big as it seems especially if you include Hogans matches vs Bockwinkel in the AWA and matches such as him vs Muta in Japan. And the guy didn't ask how good of a technical wrestler HHH was, simply asked how good he was. Getting the crowd invested as much as possible is part of being a good worker and Hogan is up at the very top of that
