I met Shawn Michaels at a restaurant once - we’d accidentally been given his table. Apparently he was fond of the restaurant and had a specific table he liked, and the management had messed up and gotten their days wrong, (it was Tuesday and they thought he was coming on Thursday or something like that). Anyway, the manager, completely embarrassed (this is a pretty nice restaurant) comes by and says “I’m so sorry, but we’d like to move you to another table if you could be troubled, and we’ll gladly compensate you for the cost of the meal and any other meal you’d like while you’re in town.” My sister and cousin were both like “Yeah that’s cool.” and I kind of played the asshole a bit. “I’m sorry, I just don’t understand. We’ve been here for 15 minutes - we’ve just ordered. Can’t we finish our meal here?” Then out of nowhere Shawn Michaels shows up next to the manager and says “Paul, these guys can finish. We’ll be at the bar. I got some time.” And I (being a big HBK fan) said “Oh wow, uh… I had no idea. Please feel free to give them the table.” Shawn was grateful, shook my hand and said thanks, then gave me a card with his number on it and told me to give him a call later. After working up the nerve, I gave him a call that night, and to make a long story short, we had a glorious 11 month love affair, man on man, that I shall never forget. Our bodies intertwined as one, and from the beauty of Morocco, to the French Riviera, to the snorkeling in the Galopagos, Shawn Michaels and I made glorious gay love to each other on six of the seven continents.

I saw Roman Reings at a grocery store in Colorado yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn’t want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, “Oh, like you’re doing now?”
I was taken aback, and all I could say was “Huh?” but he kept cutting me off and going “huh? huh? huh?” and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen boxes of pills in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like “Sir, you need to pay for those first.” At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.
When she took one of the pill boxes and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually “to prevent any electrical infetterence,” and then turned around and winked at me. I don’t even think that’s a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by saying "BELEE DAT"

I met Booker T at an NXT house show in 2012. Got a photo with him and he signed a poster that I bought at the venue. I asked him if he really liked Sin Cara because at the time he'd consistantly say that he was on his "Fave 5". He said, "Yeah, he just needs to learn English." I confused Batista at a house show in Cardiff in 2005

I was holding up a sign that said "Batista kicks butt" (i was 10) with a photo of a boot kicking an animated ass next to the writing.

He was posing to the fans on the top turnbuckle after his entrance and then he saw me holding up the sign and was making weird facial expressions and signalling confusion with his hands.

After the Royal Rumble in Pittsburgh I was in a bad mood (since Batista won) and headed to a bar called Olive or Twist.

Roman Reigns was there. This was when he was still a Shield-bro and got cheers since we thought he would take out Batista. So I go up to him to shake his hand.

He jumped when I said his name, then said "woah man, don't sneak up on a guy like that!". I told him he had a good performance and should have eliminated Batista, and he told me wrestling was fake and I should just go back home. At this point I realized he was really drunk. I asked for a quick picture to prove to my friends I met him, he said he charged 100 "smackers" for one. I just left.

I'll never forget that night because I saw how shitty he was way before anyone else.

Some facts from that tour taken from "The Stupitiy of WCW"

Went to two house shows (Raw and Smackdown) back to back in Dublin with my dad when I was about eleven or twelve. He not only managed to get us in the same hotel as all the wrestlers, but on the same fucking floor as a few of them. Met a huge number of them. Great memories.

One of the best moments was when Rey Mysterio happened to walk by when I rang my mom to ask could I stay, my dad asked him if he could wait for a few minutes to sign the WWE belt I had and take a photo. Explained what was happening and Rey walked over and asked to talk to my mom. Gave him the phone, he put his arm around me and my dad took a photo while he was talking, still have them, might post some if you guys are interested, my face blocked of course.

William Regal is next. Was the nicest fucking guy you could meet. Have a story about him. The night after Raw I was feeling pretty sick, but wanted to stay and meet all the wrestlers. Ended up getting sick in the bathroom by the pub. Walked out of the toilet and found Regal washing his hands. Asked if I was alright and all that stuff, went out and grabbed me a glass of water. I went up to bed after that, and later after my dad came back Regal knocked on the door to ask how I was feeling. Thanked him and he signed the belt, classy dude.

The A Lister Miz, met him on my own in an elevator when I was going down. First wrestler I met so I was nervous as fuck. He talked to me first by asking to see the belt. He took it and slung it over his shoulder, giving that sly smile. The one, the only, John Cena. Pretty much what you always hear about him, really awesome guy. He was drunk when I met him though so he was slurring a bit, which in my opinion is pretty funny.

My dad and him actually ended up drinking at the bar till closing time. I had gone to bed by this time, but they chatted the whole night. My dad tried to convince BMJ to let him carry the champ on his shoulders, John wouldn't go for it though. Wonder if he would remember it even vaguely. He got boo'd so much that night because he was facing Sheamus in a title match for the main event. Won but cut a promo about how tough Sheamus is, and how amazing it was to see the crowd so behind him.

Cody Rhodes, Pretty nice guy. Didn't like him at the time because he was part of Legacy with Ted Dibiase. Orton had broke away from them and they faced them both that night in a handicap match. Was a huge Orton fan so was delighted when he got the win.

Last picture I have. Sheamus. He was my favourite at the time, and still is very high on my list. Was lovely, We went over and he spoke with us for a good few minutes. He also joked about the Cena shirt, and had a bit of fun with the belt, holding it on his shoulder and all that stuff.

Around 10 years ago I was at the mall and on that day Randy Orton and Edge were signing autographs for a promotion. I was the only one in my group that knew who they were, I looked at the line and was like " Why would anyone wait in a long ass line just to meet Edge and Randy Orton". I caught a glimpse of them and remember that Randy Orton was really tall in person, but also very thin, and Edge really didn't really have a distinguishable look, I wouldn't notice it was him if their wasn't a sign. Saw R truth at a resturant, came over to say hi. Saw him sitting with Kurt Hawkins just shook their hand n said I was a fan.
Met y2j at a book signing, he said he was happy to see "nice fit dudes", was super nice.
Saw Rtruth again a year later at my gym just asked how's it going, still friendly.

Met AJ Styles at some meet n greet bullshit. Ofc you only meet the guy for like 2 seconds, but I opened with some generic "what's going on AJ", and he responded with "y'know if you cut your hair a little, you could have soccer mom hair... too". It looked like he was afraid he might have offended someone who'd sperg, but he relaxed when I smiled and said "yeah man don't listen to them, the hair is ace." Basically said how its always in his eyes or his mouth when hes in-ring. Chill guy, signed and complimented my children's wallet. It was funny cause a kid with a Cena shirt went up to him and he loudly denounced him with a "C'MON MAN!"

I met John Cena back in 2004 and I asked him if he could throw a freestyle diss on me because I was a fatty back then. He asked me again if I really wanted to and I got burned hard and the people behind me were like cheering him. He was like good sport bro, took a shitty picture with me and I met him again in a house show around 2015 and he was like "Hey I remember you, I did a shitty rap about you but honestly you looked way better than before. Okay we are both grown men so no hugging it out like".

Met Torrie Wilson around 2006, she was incredibly nice and down-to-earth and was """surprised""" that a random fan recognized her.

Met Jim Ross in a signing event in 2010-2011ish, can't remember but he sounded drunk.

The newer ones that I've encountered are Roman Reigns (who was an incredibly nice and chill dude), Big E (not that much different from his New Day persona, probably in character but he's less niggerish if you get what I mean), AJ Styles who is down-to-earth and humble as fuck and Bray Wyatt.

I've also encountered Paige and when I asked for a photo she immediately stuck her head near mine and was like "Ready?" and took multiple shots with different faces before giving me my phone back. She was too touchy for a female wrestler I must admit.
