Would it? They did the same thing with Butt Monkey Allie on TNA and she's still over as fuck whenever she makes it out to the ring. Only difference is, they had the balls to make her champ for a week.

As I mentioned in another thread, they could have done the same thing for him for an EXPLOSIVE result. I almost wish it would have happened. He doesn't need a run with it, just let him hold it until the week after when AJ gets to invoke his rematch clause and takes it right back.

Only this time, he gets Dean banned from ringside allowing him to really outclass Ellsworth and whup his ass from here to the next venue. Then, to put an exclamation point on it, he could beat his ass some more. I'm gonna stop mentioning it now because imagining the massive heat he would have gotten from that makes me sad. He had plenty of heat this tuesday but that scenario would have really had eyes watching SDL, I feel.
