Ed Whelan was the producer as well as annoucer. He quit because it was too violent,you didn't see everything on that video. Read the comments of peopele who were at the Victoria Pavilion. A lot of people liked Whelen(except the wrestlers who wanted to kill him),he was part of the show for years and also the voice of the Calgary Flames. His leaving put Stu Hart in a bind,a hit on a bruise since Stu couldn't run shows in Alberta because of this.
