During the podcast, Ryback talked about growing frustrated in WWE prior to his departure from the company this year. The master of the Meathook Clothesline suggested that he gave himself to the company and did not see the payoff.

Here's a little fact, In the last 6 years of WWE, among the new generation of stars, there is none besides Ryback and Daniel Bryan who can claim to have truly connected with the casual audience. NONE. Not phil, Not the shield, and certainly not the manlets and fatasses of this era.

I think hurting punk that time is what soured the company on him, you cant have your biggest stars being injured by your midcard guys.

None of the top guys would want to work with someone who has a history of injuring others, but WWE liked his look and wanted him to stay on. His mistake was allowing himself to be booked into big losses for no reason, if you keep saying yes, people lose respect for you, and thats true in all walks of life.

I cant recall Rybacks name ever being chanted by a vast majority of the crowd. They are two completely different animals.
