I liked my AY BAR. For the price it was good fun for plinking, even though the mags fucking suck absolute fucking ass. I love BAR's but I think I'm going to sell mine, not because I don't like it but to make room for other guns.

My favourite moment in airsoft so far is pretty uneventful because I've only been to three games so far but. I shot a guy walking down a set of steel stairs through the stairs themselves, that was a pretty fun shot. I then promptly fell down those fucking stairs not long after because I wasn't paying enough attention to what the hell I was doing. But good times all the same.

Any of you have used CQB russian valves?
If yes, did your 'normal' (read: the one you use normally with your other HPA systems) QD fitting works with it?

I'm asking because I bought mancraft valves but they are too small for my air line and I was wondering if it's supposed to be like that or mancraft made their valves to certain specifications so that they can be used onky with their pistol lanyard.

Bought it second hand, it already had the semi-auto issue fixed and a mosfet on top of that. I threw a M100 spring for the CQB games and I gotta say I adore it. With a proper sling it's very easy to switch hands, and it's easy and fun to play with.

I had to prepare some of my mags to be compatible, but it was no biggie. All in all, I'm glad my dream raifu wasn't unattainable, I will probably drop the HPA idea and use it for CQB games exclusively.

If you're going into a hardcore group you'll need a basic AK-74 or AK100 series. Buffer tubes are fine but in order for it to be 100% accurate you need a AK100 body with a side folding stock that you can add a buffer tube to. At a distance it doesn't matter but to get autism approval up close you'll need to do that. Also you'll need to swap out the rail system with one that the Russian military could get its hands on. Prepare to drop an excessive 400ish or so into an AK to make it look authentic Russian tacticool.
