Why do Brits like wrestling so much? Doesn't seem like Vince's

I've always wondered this as well.

There is a long wrestling heritage in Britain going back more than a hundred years. UK wrestling was also a big draw on TV until the mid/late 1980s and anyone mid 30s or older and from a vaguely working class background will probably remember it from their childhood.

I don't think the current US pro-wrestling product is particularly in line with British tastes, but it's a case of "take it or leave it", because there are not really any viable alternatives.

You're conflating the British upper class with Britain as whole.

Among first world countries, the UK is one of the worst for social mobility, so whilst other countries export their best and brightest, we only export our wealthiest. So foreigners only really see one small sector of British society, unless they actually come here.
