They really seemed to let loose on the suicide dives. Countless ppvs had guys like Sabu, Rey Mysterio, Super Crazy diving into the crowd and blatantly landing on fans as well as the wrestlers.
Guess it added to authenticity. Wrestlers in a supposed blood feud would really look odd politely asking the fans to move aside while they irish whip someone into the guard rails. Awesome and Tanaka used to batter fans when whipped into the rails.

Balls Mahoney and Bubba Dudley fought into the crowd and were one row away from me and my dad pulled me out of the way.
