I don't think it killed WCW but having all these different factions took the luster out of it. Should've only been one nWo.

It was too much of a good thing that had negative consequences in the future.

Between the growing member numbers, high contracts, and their ability to manipulate the backstage area and book their own segments, it caused untold problems.

Most of the financial stuff indirectly hurt the rest of the roster, causing a divide and lack of attention to the smaller guys and hurting their drive to continue in the copy.

The large roster and exposure cause them to become too shown and hogged most of the air time. This fatigued fans and hurt overall viewership.

Their booking was terrible. Most matches ended in DQ, and while it was an era where heels were booed and these actions made sense to them...when if happens Everytime regardless of the Heroes, the fans couldn't take it.
