Really blew my mind the direction they went in. I was fully expecting the last match to be ZSJ/Ibushi, considering it's impossible for Ibushi to put on a match that is less than 4 stars. Going in to it I would have liked Ibushi/TJP main event as I saw Ibushi as the most consistent in-ring as well as the most over, with TJP being the best all-around package in the tournament.

I'm alright with how it went though, TJP winning was the right choice and that giant welt (does anybody know what the fuck did that to him?) he had on his peck really fucking sold his win. His post-match promo was also solid as fuck.

The whole thing really felt like it meant something. Consistent NXT quality the entire way through with great booking. It's just so sad that all the meaning will be sucked out of it when the cruiserweight division comes to RAW and they're given no time and constantly billed for the pre-show, if even that.
