Memes aside, I legit felt bad for him. I never saw a man cry in the octagon before... he was in way over his head, and it's just too late for him to be a fighter for real. You can't compete at the highest level in a sport at almost 40 years old with no prior experience. Hopefully he will learn his lesson and go back to WWE and be what he's supposed to be.

I think what happened is that Punks whole UFC adventure was him working himself into a shoot. I think Punk genuinely started to belive his "best in the world" quote that he used to say in WWE. Problem is WWE is preplanned. He only got to the top of the card their because Vince allowed it. Punk is white hot on the mic, and is able yo back it up from an entertainment point of view, but as he learned last night, none of that is worth fucking anything in a real fight.
