I would have someone with the physique of Mason Ryan but who can actually wrestle. Instead of trying to have him cut half decent promos, just pass him off as someone who is awkward as fuck when socialising. Could borrow from Foley's ECW and purposely tone down every awesome spot like slamming a guy next to table instead of through it on purpose.

The main aspect would be he does the moves sometimes so he always gets the crowd hyped when he sets up. Imagine Neville obviously setting up his space man plancha but then doing something like a baseball slide. He would get close to doing these moves before remembering that he shouldn't.

Ideally he would idealize mat based wrestlers without realizing that he is own skill set is at odds with that.
