the outsiders and nwo was bischoff's idea

He's good at analyzing japs applying restholds on eachother for 40 minutes in the tokyo dome. Wade Keller has a far better analytical mind for the business coming from someone whos listened to both extensively.
>>
>>1705926
Bischoff copied the angle from Japan and signing people from another company with someone's else money is something anyone could do.
>>
Russo has a lot of help from Vince as we witnessed when he had complete creative control in wcw.
>>
>>1705928
Fuck off wade

wade keller only likes boring shit

In terms of actual long term booking success it goes:

1. Sam Muchnick
2. Vince Jnr.
3. Vince Snr.

Then you have the guys who had short term success but couldn't keep it up.

4. Bill Watts
5. Paul Heyman
6. Eddie Graham
7. Hishashi Shinma
8. Jim Cornette
9. George Scott
10. Eric Bischoff
11. Giant Baba
12. Riki Choshu

Help as in other wrestlers had to concede that booking decisions were final because the buck stopped with McMahon, whereas when Russo went to WCW he was being politicked left right and centre by people trying to play their creative control cards, they didnt even have production meetings so the script was being changed massively just minutes before Nitro airing on several occassions leading to the chaos you saw on TV.

If McMahon had helped Russo stylistically then that influence certainly waned massively from 2000 onwards and it becomes clearly evident as to who most of the creative influence of the Attitude era was down to.
>>
>>1705935
You mean one of the best and creative angles ever with Goldberg not following the script, Russo winning the belt through genius booking and Goldberg, sting vs vampiro, and working hulk so hard he quit? Faggot 18+

the man is the definition of an idea guy, he is alright when he has someone that understands wrestling to keep him in check but when he is left in charge it will become shit

for examples see his stints in WCW and TNA

shit bait please kys

Russo gets the entertainment aspect of wrestling. Also great at character development. Big supporter of doing stuff outside of the arena and backstage brawls which we don't see much nowadays.
>>
Scott Hall
>>
>>1706090
Russo doesn't fucking know dick about character development.
>>
>>1706092
He had everyone on the roster something to do during the AE, wether it was Val Venis banging other guys 9chicks, Mark Henry trying to date Chyna or Austin causing havoc and making McMahon miserable
>>
>>1706106
Yes, and if you watch any of his other work all his "character" boils down to is mercenary "shades-of-grey" tweeners with no loyalties or consistencies between segments.
>>
>>1705899
I've heard that Raven had a great mind for the business. Any examples?
>>
people bash russo but the attitude era was the most successful wrestling era of all time, wrestling at its peak, yeah he does a lost of stupid shit (on a pole) but he must of done some stuff right.

I think people hate these guys because smarks want to be bookers, they want to be part of the creative, they want in on the wrestling world without having to be a wrestler, just sit back and say, okay, you, go , uhhhhh punch that guy.
>>
>>1706120
raven just comes off as a real smart dude in shoot interviews also he was a writer for wwe for a time.
WWE blackballed him after he tried to form a wrestlers union though.
>>
>>1706120
He pretty much booked all his own angles from the inception of the Raven character until he joined the WWF
>>
>>1706120
I heard Vince McMahon wanted him multiple time to work at creative but instead he wanted to be a wrestler. Just look up the 7 Deadly Sins storyline idea he had which was green lit but then they delayed it and McMahon cooled off on it and it was relegated to Heat and eventually ended prematurely.

>>1706127
He just appeared on the hardcore title documentary on the Network, I guess they are cool now?
>>
>>1706120

Check his guest booker shoot with kayfabe commentaries. He should run his own fed
>>
1 Vince McMahon

9001 Jim Cornette
900001 Bret Hart

Bret was one of the GOATs when it comes to psychology and he criticises wrestlers that don't sell and rely on high-spots too much.

Your entire list smells like shitty bait anyway.

I know b8 but fuck it
Bret literally invented ladder matches, is a bonafide alltime GOAT ring psychologist, told diesel to throw him through a table in the first ever table spot and came up with great finish after great finish all throughout his career. Everything he says today about the state of WWE and throughout the past is spot on
>>
>>1706738
>Everything he says

So Melina was the best wrestler in the world in 2009 and Curtis Axel should have ended the streak?
>>
Russo is HIGHEST RATINGS OF ALL TIME.

He's GOAT.
>muh dubya see dubya!
>muh vince!
Russo was never Executive Vice President like Bischoff was. Russo never had power to hire and fire. He didn't run WCW, he just tried to write their television shows. But he couldn't do his job because WCW management was a fucking mess when he was brought in. Bischoff was sent home and the people running the place were Turner executives like Brad Siegel. Russo, like Bischoff, was getting played by the talent that had too much power because of their contracts AND the Turner executives. And it was the same thing in TNA with Dixie.

Jim Cornette is shit. He was booking the WWF New Generation. And his ROH was shit too.

LOWEST RATINGS OF ALL TIME.

Hi Jim
>>
Can my fellow Russolads please stop letting the team down by accepting the retarded premise that his WCW run was bad and then trying to explain it.

The ratings were up.
If you listen to his Meltzer interview, even internet wrestling marks were enjoying it (except one libtard who thought that recognising that tequila is from Mexico is racist.)
The character web he weaved puts War and Peace to shame.

Russo rules. If Goldberg never kicked Bret's head, Vince McMahon would today be remembered as a failed businessman.
>>
>>1706904

Yes, the first 3 months were brilliant when there was actually a semblance of him being properly in charge, absolutely spellbinding TV. However the rest of 2000 is often accredited exclusively to him which is of course false and needs explaining to the stupid Corny fags who like to use some of the chaos of that year to nail Russo's reputation to the cross with
>>
>>1707003
This
>>
>>1706738
>told diesel to throw him through a table in the first ever table spot

ECW had been doing table spots for over a year before this and they weren't the first to do them by a longshot
>>
>>1706738
>Bret literally invented ladder matches
He didn't invent it. He just brought the idea from Stampede
>>
No Matt Hardy. Opinions deleted.
>>
WWE should hire Vic Venom to make it great again
>>
>>1705909
Also got TNA to the highest rating it's ever gotten. It was when Bischoff and Hogan were brought in because Dixie wasn't happy with them having a natural peak that it fell apart.
>>
>>1705935
WCW was already fucked hard by the time he was brought in. The crazy dumb angles were any and all attempts to keep it afloat and get people watching.
>>
>>1706756
>He was booking the WWF New Generation.
he constantly hates on HBK and doesn't like Nash either
>>
>>1707003
They kept on stopping and starting with him. I find WCW at that time is still far more watchable than WWE these days.
