Sasha desperately needs to switch to a humble face gimmick before that, since right now she's working a gimmick similar to the Miz when he first came, or Mr. Perfect or whatever, basically a heel gimmick. You can't work a gimmick like she has a face until you've already made it. You can start cutting promos calling yourself legit boss on the day before you win the title at Wrestlemania and then re-invent yourself afterward and put that boss shit on shirts and crap, but they basically never "reset" her gimmick when they called her up from NXT, and she never worked a gimmick to get herself over with the main crowd, only telling them how boss she is and presupposing a state of overness that only exists with NXT smarks and the people that masturbate to her.

Sasha is built up now, because it's a safe time to do so. She is not that talented, or reliable, and the women's division is still somewhat going on in the background with little interest and zero drawing power.

If they want to make it a main event thing, they will use Sasha to build to that, but she won't be there for the main event.

They need an equivalent of Hogan v Andre type of match. A Face Charlotte taking on a heel Nia Jax or some shit like that. A big Fatal Four Way with Flair, Becketty, Asuka and Bailey to make the hat chaps all spoff in their pants.

I'm not going to work myself into a shoot about chick fights, but Charlotte is an incredibly talented and dedicated athlete. She currently has 2 (TWO) problems:
-Trying to escape the long shadow cast by her tedious old man.
-She makes things look effortless, which actually counts against her somewhat when fans are too dipshit to recognise what's going on. Her ring entrance alone demonstrates more agility than the rest of the women's division. And that's kind of the problem - too many spots just tossed out there. She doesn't actually sell her own stuff well enough.

Women wrestlers (not Mr. Ed and Charlotte though) could easily headline a PPV, and they probably will within the next year, but that says far more about how many worthless filler PPVs there are than their actual quality as wrestlers.
