i dont really hate either im sort of indifferent. Finn isnt as bad on the mic as i thought hed be but i feel like WWE dropped the ball buy showing his demon shit on Raw. also i hate his demon gimmick and his entrance is too long. hes great in ring though and for an irish manlet hes decently charismatic. I think Seth should win though bc hes already an established character to give the universal title some prestige(seth also should have been face on his return). if I was WWE i would have done a double turn for the universal title with Seth and Roman turning face and heel, and have Balor go for the US title instead. he and Rusev probably would have been great together.

It's not like he's good enough to stick around in the ME; he'll be twatting around in the upper-midcard this time next year because Haitch likes him, or in the CW Division because that's a perfect fit for him anyway.
The only benefit to him winning is they'd probably get a tasty merch injection for a month or two as kids go nuts for demon shit, before people fall off as he just fucks his reign up.

I guess that's true, a loss against Seth isn't the worst thing in the world. If this was Seth's booking a year ago, I'd raise a eye brow, but he's been decently strong since his return and his only loses thus far came from the guy who is currently holding the WWE Championship.

Yeah, for posturing's sake, Seth's a much better choice.
He's younger, more established, has more left in the tank, already the first ever dual WWEWHC/US Champ, first ever MiTB WM cash-in.
Him being the first Universal Champ is a MUCH better thing to look back on 30/40 years from now than a short-lived supernatural hermaphrodite gimmick.
If they want Balor to win at all, have him lose in a really fucky fashion, actually test the waters, put him out there and see if he can get and stay over, then give him a run 1/2 PPVs down the line.

That's not how you build people. You don't just throw a title on a guy and see if it works. Send him out, let him built a rapport, if he does, you have a guy who's ready to go, if he doesn't, you know not to make the mistake.
If you just toss it on him now he'll just fail. I don't care about some "New Era" narrative they can't even be bothered to maintain through booking three shows into said new era.
