Were they draws?
>>1594282
No, not at all. Most overrated 3 faggot ever.
Top 3 draws in wrestling history:
1. Ric Flair
2. Macho Man
3. Ultimate Warrior
4. Undertaker
5. Bret Hart
Anyone who disagrees is a gaylord btw.

Hogan and Austin were draws, but I also feel like Austin did damage to his legacy by coming back for that bullshit in 32.
>>1594341
Better that than ruining your career in TNA like Hogan did.
>>1594342
Hogan had two legitimate careers/runs in both WWF and WCW, nothing wrong with him getting paid and entertaining marks.
Austin had 3 years of blazing glory, he shouldn't be stomping mudholes for less than a title shot.
>>1594341
What? Hogan and Rock have done way more damage to their own legacies with their multiple repeated apperances.
>>1594381
Disagree about Hogan, agree about slightly about Rock. Thing about Rocky is he was always a celebrity first, a wrestler second. He didn't outgrow wrestling, he used it as a stepping stone to where he wanted to go. Austin is a wrestler first and foremost, and is held to a higher standard.
And Hogan is from a different era completely.
Austin beating up jobbers with HBK and Mankind, even sharing the ring with Foley, is well beneath him.
>>1594391
Really? You don't think Hogan's 20 appearances (to a significantly reduced pop each time) a year shilling cancer before he got cockblocked affected his legacy?
>>1594391
Austin himself expressed dissatisfaction with his role at Mania.
If they had swapped Austin and Rock's roles it would have been 20 times better.
>>1594396
No, I don't. Each subsequent return doesn't further reduce him. A lot of people like seeing Hogan, like it or not he's a lovable and sympathetic character, and his character can stand to come back and be a corn ball and get softballed jobbers and the more cartoony wrestling fuckery. To a lesser extent this applies to The Rock, who is a celebrity and WWE sucks celebrity dick big time.
Austin though? He's an anti-authority Texas shit kicker, it's not appropriate for him.
>>1594309
undertaker did not draw until he became a part timer
>>1594677
Undertaker wasn't a draw.
The streak was a draw.
>>1594309
0. Andre the Giant

You clearly don't understand how facts work. It's not a matter or agreeing or disagreeing, Austin made the company more money than anyone. Austin being on a poster for an event he wouldn't even be mentioned during pushed sales. He is literally the biggest draw of all-time. You can't argue with numbers.

Man. A lot of people will rewrite history mentally just so what they read/agree with fits their narrative. That's every wrestling board.
