#29 in the Rumble if Jeff Hardy, then #30 is Broken Matt Hardy. Matt goes on to win by eliminating Jeff last. Meanwhile in the main event, Dean Ambrose drops the belt to Bray Wyatt.

At WWE Roadkill, Matt beats Jeff in a Final Deletion Match to make him Brother Nero again. Wyatt retains clean against Ambrose in an Asylum Match.

In the build up to Mania, Shane and D-Bry are in a disagreement about who would be the best champ. Shane thinks Bray is dark and violent but that is kinda cool, and Matt is too insane. Bryan disagrees because of his past with Wyatt. Meanwhile, Matt continues to degrade his obsolete mule and Ambrose's chraracter gets darker and more twisted as he broods on his defeat.

At Mania, Matt's obsolete mule Jeff turns on him but then Ambrose comes out and costs Bray the match. The next night on Raw there's a rematch and Strowman and Harper both jump over from Raw to join the Wyatts. It's looking like Bray will get his title back but Balor interferes, joining Broken Matt's cause.

After the Wyatts bring Henry Wyatt over to their side, it goes well for them. Bray wins the belt back at Summerslam, and also Shane O Mac defeats Dean Ambrose in an Asylum match for total control of Smackdown. Bryan is gone.

With Shane running Smackdown Live and the Wyatts in control, he renames the show Armageddon Live. The gay theme is replaced by doom metal, and all the announces are fired and replaced by Michael Cole, who has been converted into a Bray worshipper, and John Cena. Even Randy Orton, who had been a wild card up until now, ends up joining the Wyatts.

Broken Matt realises what he has to do. He sends Kane to fetch his brother, and challenges Undertaker to a Final Deletion match at Survivor Series. Matt wins and deletes Undertaker's soul. Taker is now part of Matt's army. At War Games in December, Matt Hardy, The Brothers of Destruction, Ambrose and Balor defeat Shane, Bray, Orton, Henry and Nero in a War Games Match for control of Smackdown. The next night on Raw, Matt thanks the Undertaker and undeletes him, restoring his soul. Undertaker then tries to attack Matt but an invisible forcefield protects him. Matt explains that Lady Belvora, Third among the Seven Deities, has bestowed her protection upon him.

In the following weeks, Matt gains more powers from the Seven Deities, like teleportation, mind control and telepathy. He explains that they are pleased with him, and are reward him, for he is their Prophet. There are defections. Braun Strowman and Paige both go over to Broken Matt's cult. Brother Nero also comes crawling back, saying he has seen the light.

Wyatt gets desperate. He knows what he has to do. He kidnaps Kane, and then Balor, and then his former brother Strowman, and steals their powers by draining their aura. He gains inhuman strength, and immunity to pain, and the ability to wield fire. Kane and Finn appear, unmasked, as part of the Wyatt family. But Matt is still stronger, and has the larger army. Bray needs one more soul: that of the Undertaker.

Royal Rumble opens with Bray v Taker in HIAC. Bray is victorious, and carries off Undertaker's prone body afterwards, with the Herald behind cradling Taker's urn.

In the main event, the Rumble match itself, Matt's army uses it's numerical advantage to dominate. Matt himself is at ringside, directing traffic. With the Broken Bastards filling the ring, Bray Wyatt enters at number 29.

Cesaro charges him on the entrance ramp, but one punch sends him flying back over the top rope into the ring. The Ascension are next, but a giant fireball takes care of them. Wyatt rolls into the ring and clears everyone. Matt Hardy looks on in fear. The countdown hits number 30.

Roman Reigns comes out. Superman punch, spear, Reigns eliminates Wyatt and goes on to beat Matt Hardy for the title at Mania.

Shane and Daniel Bryan hatch a plan to get one over on Raw and Stephanie.

Shane argues that the brand extension was done unfairly. Raw got the first pick, got more overall picks, got the Cruiserweight division. Everything was stacked against Smackdown from the get go, but they've still managed to put on a show that's better than Raw, so he wants something in exchange for that, dammit. He starts sniping people from NXT left and right. Regal goes to Triple H and Steph and says get your pissant of a brother to stop raiding my goddamn promotion, you yankee fucks.

Triple H gets to play the calm, collected mediator and says okay, you can't raid NXT like this, it's a developmental brand, these guys aren't ready for the main roster -- if you give Regal back the guys you sniped, we'll fill out your roster with some compensatory picks from Raw. Shane agrees, they get four compensatory picks. He uses three gets some girls and midcarders, doesn't take anybody big like Seth, Finn, Roman, Sasha, Charlotte, etc. doesn't use the fourth pick either. Steph assumes her brother's just an idiot and she outfoxed him. We move on for the next few months.

Money in the Bank, somebody wins the Universal briefcase. Let's say, Cesaro. Fast forward to a future Raw PPV. Seth Rollins has just retained the belt. He's happy, he's feeling great. Out of fucking nowhere, AJ Styles leaps up on to the rope and NAILS him with a Phenomenal Forearm. Seth has no idea what's going on, suddenly Randy Orton appears and RKOs Seth next. Seth is out. He's done. Suddenly, Cesaro comes sprinting out. He cashes in his briefcase. He covers Seth, picks up the belt. While he's celebrating, a taped vingette plays of Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan declaring they use their last compensatory pick on...Cesaro.

Stephanie comes out, absolutely livid, with security and shit. AJ, Randy and Cesaro all book it. They successfully make it out. Smackdown now has both world titles. Shane and Bryan's plan was a success.

Its really hard to book this because im not sure how the Royal Rumble will function with the brand split. Will they get to pick which Title they wish to contend for? If the winner is RAW, will they have to go after the Universal Title or is the World Title up for grabs too and Vice Versa? Regardless...the first thing I need to do is put in place all my champions going into the event...Im going to ignore the Cruiserweight division because we're still in the dark about how thats going to work.

I think Lesner/Braun could be a worth while match, it just needs to happen by itself and without any other stipulations on it. No different rules, no DQs, no helpers, no title on the line, no streak or whatever.
