Not talking about which match would get the highest star rating from Meltz. I am talking about which match would do the most on ppv that had a possibility of happening.
As a kid growing up in the late 90s Austin vs Goldberg was THE dream match. Both look similar both the and they where the top guys during the peak of the monday night wars. I remember Meltzer saying if this happened when WWF bought WCW it would of broken all ppv records.

Hogan vs Austin 99
Hogan vs Flair at Mania 8will always always be the answer
But Japan also cucked themselves out of a bunch of interpromotional supercards with THE GUYs because they probably couldn't decide who would go over
Jumbo vs Inoki in the 80s
Misawa vs Hashimoto in the mid 90s

I used to mark so hard when goldberg came out with his badass theme. Remeber when the wwe was fun and didn't cater to fat smarks?

they never did it because it was drawing poor at house shows
NO BUYS
Undertaker Vs. Sting around the AE would have done well. Both guys were in good shape, wrestling was pretty mainstream still.
