It's just that no one gave two shits about it, and rightly so.

I think they mesh perfectly.
Roman's offense isn't bad, and on someone like KO, who isn't as heavy as WWE make out (they paint him as kind of a slugger because of his frame), it would look much better, as you have the perception of Roman hoisting up someone who is believably quite heavy.
Then you have KO's offense, which is much better than Roman's, and takes up the majority of the match. All Roman needs to do is be a warm body and let Owens get to working on him.
