If you think for a second that Vince would give him the creative freedom to do his Broken Matt character, you're wrong.

At best you'd get a desperate nostalgia grab. At worst, you'd get a heavily scripted WWE creative version of Broken Matt that tries too hard to capture the magic and completely misses the mark. Matt wouldn't be allowed to deviate from the script at all.
