in regards to FO the best version is called "a tale of two wastelands"

it requires both FO3 and FONV its a mod where you basically combine the 2 games to make a giant world using the FONV engine. So you can ADS in the FO3 world. It also works with ultra wide 16:3/48:9 5760x1080 resolution. While FO4 also can display natively in this aspect ration as pervious anon said FO4 may have missed the mark and is more of a borderlands casual than anything you could do in 3 and NV.
