Smackdown was only good when Heyman was booking it.
He made Benoit and Guerrero stars.
Although alot of people may hate him because he is Jewish, there arguably has never been a better WWE booker.
Guy could make drug addicts get in the ring and make good matches. So many people who came from ECW later became massive stars.
I would say of anyone in wrestling he is the most talented.
He should be running Smackdown now, instead of Internet wrestling community pandering Shane and Bryan.

So in the West Coast of the United States is not LIVE, they gotta wait until it's 8PM there when it's basically 12AM on the East Coast and there are spoilers all over the Internet. Unless WWE is broadcasting from some city on the West Coast, where they basically have to start at 5PM, because that's when it's 8PM on the West Coast

The network (USA) 'sells' a certain rating for a time slot and advertisers buy in. The point is to have ad revenue offset the cost of programming, thus making a profit. When the programming (WWE) fails to deliver the rating, the network has to pay back the advertisers, either with money or free ad slots. These are called 'make-goods'.

USA was probably having to give out too many 'make-goods' on Smackdown broadcasts, so they lit a fire under WWE's ass to make it live. USA can charge a higher premium for live programming, since it tends to be delayed-viewing-proof.

Dish is known for doing that shit a lot, so depending on the Cable provider you have, depends what kind of ads you'll see. That screws really bad TV Networks
