Roman Reigns outdraws Cena and Orton and Deanetty and Jasethy. You cannot explain why raw ratings went to record lows (with no sports competition and with Cena) with Roman missing on suspension, and then on the first Raw with Roman back, the ratings shoot back up and destroy Smackdown.

I kind of feel as though SD! is in the same hole that Impact is in - it's been shit for so long that it's going to take some time to bring the fans back.

But let's also be real here: 1. Smackdown! has never gotten Raw level ratings, even at it's highest point.

2. The roster is full of guys that have been misused and jobbed for years - it's going to take time to build-up guys like Ziggler and Wyatt...alot of time.

3. Dean, barely even appeared on this week's episode, so how is this reflective of his drawing power? If he actually main-evented the show and there was a huge drop in viewership then I would be inclined to agree. However, he didn't, so if anything I would argue that this week's poor ratings are more reflective of the fact that NOBODY on the main-roster can be considered legitimate draws right now.

Just like the name "Raw" draws fans on Monday night's regardless of who is on the show, the name "Smackdown" has been so connected to mediocre B-show for so long that it's going to take some time to build it up to anything respectable- even if Cena were to be given the belt again.
