The thing with show quality is that it retains viewers, a great show doesn't usually get big rises, but it makes sure there won't be big drops.

This is exactly the wrong attitude. Wrestling isn't niche and it never was, only smarks pretend it is. Wrestlemania is a huge event every year. Good booking can raise the ratings to something respectable. We finally saw what we wanted Roman to be after TLC and it boosted the ratings to 4 mil viewers. Then Roman got shit booking again and never returned to his bad ass ass kicking phase. Then he lost the belt to fucking Triple H. Horrendous.

Roman is the most popular guy on Raw now by far. Good logical booking can put the ratings back up - not to attitude era ratings but to 2009/2010 ratings at least. He's much more popular than guys like CM Punk to the casuals.

Raws been doing just fine in the 3 point ratings have been since pre 2006.
You guys make every weeks rating mean something when if you actually look at the raw ratings they bounce throughout each year between low and high threes usually averaging 3.3 to 3.6
Find a chart on the internet and prove me wrong. The ratings have held at a somewhat consistent level for ten plus years.
Also.
You do realize that tv in general will never see the amazing high ratings it used to.
In a world where everything is streamed, theres millions of shows to watch on tv at any given moment, there are 1000s of channels that 16 years ago didnt exist.
And now how many people even fully watch what they watch, everyone just looks at their phones.
