He did get like a five month transitional run with the WHC belt back in 2010. And the couple days he held the WWF title was pretty clearly just to get his name on the list of champions. The usual claim from a lot of wrestlers is that Kane is about the least self-promoting guy in the business and has turned down a bunch of booking ideas for pushing him for whatever reasons. Apparently he's comfortable being the corporate guy with an upper midcard job for life rather than trying to be the superstar who might have burned brighter and faster.

Prime Kane is a strong contender for greatest big man. Obviously the longevity goes against him, because Taker remained better over a period. But for his peak and peak alone, Kane was incredible for his size.
