the show was mostly great, like a ROH show with actual production values, commentary was awesome the booking of matches was very formulaic but at allowed everyone to look good except for Ho Ho Lun who may be the worst wrestler to work a WWE match in years. Best of all no ads during matches, NXT was butchered tonight with the ads .

6 of these first 8 guys could be legit players going forward in NXT and WWE, so far the talent was that good, and it's set up a second round match that has MOTY sleeper candidate written all over it.

The heel tactics as well as his offence made Daivari entertaining. Too bad Lun didn't put out enough offence in that match. Kinda boring in the in-ring work.

Both Petiot and Alexander created a great contrast on each of their ring styles. Seeing Petiot's discus clothesline made me miss HarpGOAT. I got annoyed over how Bryan and Ranaldo kept saying Petiot's name wrong. Exciting match overall.
>Maluta vs Ibushi
Had Vince overseen this tournament Maluta would have squashed everyone. He fits the mold of what Vince fantasize: he's Samoan, he botches (although it was just one botch), he's a high flyer, and he's an Anoa'i. Both did a good job closing the show though. Maluta's codebreaker was pretty sick benefited by Ibushi's selling. Ibushi's triangle moonsault was the highlight of the match. Ibushi won, but he made Maluta look strong dammit.

Overall the first episode was great. Lots of flippy shit as well as non-flippy shit. Bryan and Ranaldo are excellent as a commentary team. Their excitement with various moves created an intense feeling in the matches. Full Sail crowd as usual was shit. Matches were great. Only gripe for this night's episode was all the faces won their matches. Hopefully next week that changes.

Probably can't say anything that has been said before but I loved Charles Robinson in the opener, Saez emoting so hard and Petiot looking like a bad ass. I am worried about the dives to the outside though since the only place with a bunch of space is by the entrance which means diving NEXT to the turnbuckle. Its most probably why Maluta botched that dive.

Most of the card made me think I was watching WCW Thunder with an outlaw wrestling crowd, seriously shyte and cringe worthy audience. Mauro brought the goods as usual on commentary and Dbry was solid.

Gran Metalik vs Chilean Jobber was good for what time they gave it, wish there had been more.

Homo Loon was all kinds of mini Misawa and if he didn't have a stupid haircut I would probably like him but Daivari Bro was such a good heel you wanted him to win.

Petoit vs Alexander was very good, probably best on the card unless you had never seen Ibushi before.

Ibushi vs Mulato was a fun kick flippy affair with an exclamation point being Mulato going for a tope con hilo or possibly an inside to outside 450 but getting caught on the ropes, Ibushi caught it like a champ and Mulato is lucky to not be paralyzed.

Overall the card was too predictable but fun none the less.

I'm actually interested in seeing these guys fight against each other.

Cringed when I saw it was at Full Sail, crowd was as expected. Presentation was cool though. D-Bry needs a bit of work on commentary but he did fine for a n00b. The ref's talking before the matches was pretty funny. The 2nd ref fucked up and the last one sounded like a nerd.

First match was whatever. The Chilean guy was pretty funny with his over acting.

2nd match I thought the Muslim was more interesting. I have a feeling they had Ho Ching win just because he's from "Hong Kong China" and they're all after that Chinese audience now.

I really wanted the French guy P'Tieu to win the third match, he was way more interesting than Sedryk Alykzandah who was just yet another boring ass super athletic black guy.

Last match seemed like a waste of Ibushi. Might as well put Nakamura against Jey Uso. That botched dive was scary/funny.
