I kind of tend to agree. The problem with Iron Man matches are how they are finished. The anitcipation leading up to it can be awesome, but will always be ruined by a rushed or a trytoohard finish. Bayley/Sasha suffered from a bad finish too, they first Takeover match was miles better than their IM match.

I like the idea of Ironman matches and I enjoy watching them. But it's impossible to make a sensible finish because of the imposed time limit. Maybe if the limit was never displayed or something, but only announced at 10 minute intervals.

It was just Sami selling Joe's completely normal offense for 40 minutes and hitting spots in the last five.
They didn't go out of their way to do anything special. Just a much, much longer completely standard affair.

to even out the stipulation who ever surrenders on the champion side loses their title and the single quitter on the challenger side is 'fired' from the WWE

a match like that with even straight forward single fall 10 man tag match would be fun , it would be better with out Tag Team champions tho so you don't end up with a singles competitor winning the tag belts like Austin did in a similar match.
