Hogan vs HBK Summerslam 2005
It was so purposely shit that it was great. Made Hogan look like a fool which was fine by me.

Undertaker/Kane at WM14. That whole feud was great as a kid. Paul Bearer. Kane set on fire inside the casket at the Royal Rumble. The fact Kane was such a monster and it took like 3 tombstones to beat him. Right from Kanes debut at Badd Blood up till the match was a really good build.

I would put this match in my favourites list too, but I don't agree it is good solely because Hulk looks foolish. I don't even think whether he does or does not look foolish actually increases the enjoyment of the match.

I think they both put on the greatest match they were capable of.

In Hogan's case, it was the same match he has fought, every card, since 1986.

In HBK's case, it was taking the framework of Hulk's "classic spots" and creating something genuinely never before seen around those spots.

So watching it from one side, you get Hulk's blading, his beatdown, his heroic comeback, his hulking up, his "YOU!" and his big legdrop and win".

From Shawn's side, you get the one guy in the business who would dare to stand up to Hulk and put on a show of his own - clowning, and stealing thunder by handshaking at the end, just like Hulk to Warrior a decade before.

It's such a good event, it doesn't deserve to just be dismissed as Shawn mocking Hulk, and Hulk burying Shawn.
