Can aikido/judo people actually do this?

I don't think I wanna maximize that image
>>1285900
It's super over exaggerated and that kind of thing usually only works on unsuspecting and untrained individuals, but yes. Wrestlers, bjj practitioners, pretty much anyone with grappling experience can do it too. All of them more effectively than an Aikidoka.

Aikido is very deadly, mix it up with Krav Maga and you'll be untouchable.

Look at the guy's gi, it looks like a Karate Gi.
>>1286076
Lol okay. Wrestlers and other rappers are good at their skill set. Perhaps setting up for a meat hook or single leg takedown, but they don't practice wrist applications. Same with bjj guys. They are focused on getting you to the ground. This is an entirely aikido skill set.
And you have to think: how many people in the world could actually defend a move they don't understand like this? Not many.

Well, given that I've trained in Aikido for four years, am a second kyu, and wrestled for two years, and train regularly with BJJ practitioners, I'm pretty sure I know what I'm talking about.
It's a simple wrist grab with proper alignment of the hand and a soft grip. There's nothing mystical or especially skillful about it. It's something I learned how to do pretty early in my training.

This fucking mangaka has the ugliest art anywhere in manga. Maybe anywhere in comics. It's not even that it's bad or unpracticed, it's just ugly. I think that's the worst part, is that it's a practiced, honed ugliness. It's not ugly by accident, it's meant to look like this.
>>1285900
Yes, but people who can do it to someone who is not tanking for them are somewhat rare.

>I think that's the worst part
You seem to have misspelled best.

Why doesn't he just put the guy into a rolling armbar?

>Maybe anywhere in comics
That's not fair when there's stuff like Rob Liefeld. Anon, it least this on purpose, at first it might have just been some off art but he ended up deciding to have it be his style.

Son, are you a faggot?
