Consider almost nothing that was status quo changing or affirming really mattered in the long run(ryder losing his belt 24 hours later, charlotte stil winning the womens championship. Shane McMahon losing but still getting to be in charge.) It may not be the worse but it makes a fair contention

First mania I watched live was X-7 so everything after that for the last 15 years has been forgettable.

It wasn't worse than WM9.

It might be bottom 5 though. The matches themselves weren't poor (mostly), but the build up was SO fucking bad I just stopped watching entirely and it was clear many people just didn't give a fuck about a lot of it, their inability to get the crowd into the goddamn building ruined everything before the Ladder Match (not that there was a lot of note), the Women's match underperformed, and the finishes every match after the Ladder Match were the stupidest possible options in every case.

It wasn't an outright tragedy like WM9 or even WM11 though.

No it was awful. Almost nothing made sense. Like >>1281847 said, nothing changed and nothing mattered. The wrestling might have been okay but the writing was inexcusably terrible. Dean/Lesnar sucked and was your standard squash match, Undertaker/Shane was too long, Roman/Triple H was a shit idea to begin with and was so boring I almost fell asleep. Even Jericho and Styles was pretty average. The ladder match and the women's championship matches were the only ones I was actually into the whole time.

32 was enjoyable, didn't feel like it dragged on (except the Shane/Taker match) however the ending to the main event sucked.

WM9 is underrated because it was a good culmination of feuds. If you watched the programming leading up to WM9 it was fine, just watching it as a standalone event takes away from it.
