Amazing publicity and PR to have a well-spoken black man that possesses a law degre on the roster.
Note that he doesn't even travel with the WWE; he only ever does the pre-shows, which are shot in Conneticut. They probably pay him jack shit as a wrestler, and just for his legal services whenever necessity arises.
