I have a replica of the bowman headset, so I don't need it to have radio ports and microphone, I just want something that doesn't look like a coconut (I don't wear a helmet, but still prefer low-profile headsets), fits the bowman headset, and isn't bright as balls.

I will probably use it in the shooting range too, so that's why I would like to avoid replicas.

I don't personally own one, but a quick google search says that they weight anywhere from 6-7.5 pounds. As for the quality of the image; well it's a generation 1 tube from 40 odd years ago so it's not the best.
They're purely for novelty or for reenactments when you consider that you can get some commercial gen 1+ or gen 2 scopes for the price of a PVS-2.
