I'm not one of them, but some people thought backstage Vince changed the ending of the match on the fly after Joe started pushing away doctors to please the crowd. Hence why many more doctors started running down the ramp than there needed to be, why the match got really fucked-up in the middle and Balor just started doing the same slingblade spot like 4 times, and why the ending was just a simple reversal-to-rollup.

I doubt Vince actually did change the match, let alone ANYONE backstage making that decision, but it would explain why the match started slowing down and getting more repetitive as time went on. Joe probably got some shit for pushing the docs away but I doubt changing the outcome of the match was what they have in mind. By drama, I was also referring to the fact that Joe lost a title match in a pretty mediocre main-event, again. More people are talking about the doctor's towels than they are Joe being a beast, so maybe delay his callup by a month or two before letting him loose.
