Not really. The big bumps are pussified these days. However they do a lot more medium bumps like suicide dives every fucking match and shit to try and get "This is awesome" chants. They rarely have the heel working a slower paced match to build heat any more.

WWE need to figure out a way of giving people time off. Maybe rotate the roster so that everyone gets a month off or something. You wouldn't even have to cancel any TV or PPVs that way, just make it so that a set few every month are off.

This is exactly it. Matches are faster paced with less build up and rest holds. We live in the ADHD generation after all. Matches start with pace and end with pace and there are definitely more of those medium tier bumps even if the more brutal balls to the wall stuff has been nerfed.

The schedule is pretty stupid and a contributing factor but not as much as how the actual wrestling matches themselves have changed over the years.
