I used to hate wire coats but they grew on me despite I don't think I've ever met one with it.

because he is mostly inside dog and sleeps on our bed he has a pretty soft coat. doesn't malt much but needs a comb like 2 times a week to get rid of dead hair and avoiding looking natty.

natty affects outside dogs more.

came home last night to a douchey 'letter' from the neighbors.

anyways cowards didn't even say what house they are, we've had him since january 4th and he hasn't had any other complains so wtf?

ok it's real shitty weahter (sorry no hurricane) where walter and i live but i am braving it with him to go film taking him for a walk, might try to play a song or two in the back round who knows. either way i'l be filimng him at the dog park where it should be real wet and stuff, who knows.

might curb this 'barking' thing. but we do this fairly often so idk wtf.

Do the deerhound mixes live longer?

The main reason I don't want a wolfhound or deerhound is because I heard they live 7 years max.

There is a great quality breeder of both in my area only about 1-2 litters per year. Every two to three years or so they went without breeding because they also sponsor the greyhound OTT rehoming, and foster some of them. They still have a constant single foster in their home, just sometimes they do more. I've met them personally, and know their passion for the breeds and care for conservation of the breed.

However, even they admit these are "heartbreak" dogs with their short lifespan. Can mixing solve it?

Sorry to bring up something so solemn, it's just that I love these breeds and would want to invest in one.

My wife and I's friend from work whom visits quiet often purchased a jack russell and is 3months younger than our hound mix
they go for walks quite a lot and one day recently i realised the jack russell (who is obssessed with our dog) will out live our dog by like 5 years at least .
we wonder if he will die of heart break, they are gay dogs.

anyways to answer your question they have a life expectancy of around 9-10years so fingers crossed. i would recommend you get one and damn the heartbreak. llife is heartbreak.

Forgot to mention it happened to me, not that it matters. I've had an American eskimo for about five years and they are known barkers. I'm really on top of it so if she is outside and barks more than a few times I bring her in or go outside with her to shut her up since she won't bark if I'm nearby her and I really don't want my neighbors to hate me.
I had to leave for a few days and paid my housemate and my brother live at my place to take care of things and they left her outside one night where she apparently wouldn't shut the fuck up. So that was a $200 fine.

he finished puppy school with flying colors my Walter did, so no.

also deerhounds are not known barkers and wolfhounds are not known barkers. a mix of the two should breed a barker you tool.

i asked 5 other neighbours who no one owned up to the note and they all said, no your dog is very quiet and i've never heard him bark. all of them said that. on top of he is only ever left outside alone between 3pm to 7:30pm on any given day i am working. other than that he has company and sleeps inside on our bed.

Most wire hair dogs I have experience with feel slightly damp/sticky to the touch. Personally the feeling grosses me out and I hate wire hair dogs because of it but ymmv
