So when a manatee needs help to return to water, a hipster douche who lived his entire life at home pulls out her/his smartphone and takes a picture to show all her/his "friends" that they caught this "awesome" occurrence live on camera instead of posting it anywhere were they could help the manatee.

reminds me of a similar case I saw on liveleak when I think a policeman was shot dead and a local woman took pictures of his death rather than calling for help.

News article says the picture was part of a post asking for help, and the guy who posted the pic kept the manatees wet with buckets of water till help came and then they pulled the half ton animals into deeper water
