I shot and taxidermied this wild rabbit on my friend's farm. I believe it is a European rabbit, but it has white patches. Never seen anything like it. I sometimes see black rabbits too.
Is there a name for this sort of patchy mutation in rabbits and how common is it? I know in birds the patchiness is called pied.
My taxidermy skills are absolute shit as I dont have the right experience and tools, but my pet birds seem to like the rabbit anyway.

Looks like some of its eggs have hatched a long time ago. I'd wager it's a easter bunny

Really not a bad taxidermy for an amateur, good job.
I think it might be piebald?

Piebald or pied if the same you are looking for since it's not domesticated.
It's a shame you fucked up that beautiful creature. It would actually be worth a pretty penny. Hell, it would have been worth more if you kept it frozen and sold it to someone with better skills.
Pic maybe related. A black tailed jackrabbit. They don't turn white in the winter like snowshoe hares or white tailed jackrabbits.
