My yard has wheat like grass growing in it. When I mowed my backyard a couple months ago it left the grass all yellow and dead now its summer and I am wondering should I till the soil to help bury the seeds they left so that when winter comes around and it begins raining frequently they can germinate and grow again? The yard is patchy right now, and we dont own the house so I wanna know before I fuck it up beyond repair. I heard tilling is bad for the soil.
nah, don't do that. just paint the dirt green.
you're not supposed to cut grass more than 2/3rds of it's height. it's grass and it will grow back just mow it properly once every week or two depending on rate of growth
