Fly pupae? Just a guess

It it's hard and not moving, it's a fly pupa. You might have a house fly infestation soon if you're not careful. They can burrow into carpet too so you better be thorough.

Yeah it's a fly pupa. I found three more underneath the drawer but I disposed of them.

I'm not sure how they got in, but I'm guessing they got in through the AC in the wall.

Just to be sure, should I wash my thin blanket?

If the blanket isn't fibrous with places for them to dig into, it should be fine. I had to deal with an infestation years back that basically came out of nowhere since I keep my house clean. I found the sources mostly in my living room underneath my couch, in corners, and in the carpet. I was able to pull the pupa out of the carpet when I found them.

I've checked the house and it seems that they were only near the drawer. But anyways, thanks for the help.
