I just posted this on /b/ because I know someone might be good enough to give me some proper advise but I want to post it here as well.
My dog is 9 years old and has a swollen cheek, he is in pain and I took him to the vet but she couldn't tell what it was, do you guys have any idea what it might be? The vet said it might be his teeth but she isn't sure. Thanks for your help /an/

Either you're lying about taking him to the vet or you took him to some shitty hillbilly vet that has no fucking idea what he's doing because nobody just goes "no clue lmao anyway you can leave now". Take him to a proper vet and stop asking on the Internet.

If it's the tooth they said they needed to apply 3 vaccines to reduce the the swollen part and then make some tests to see if he needs surgery,

so why didnt you do that...?
>The vet said it might be his teeth but she isn't sure

I think I can piece together what happened here. The vet said that she didn't know for sure but was prepared to run some tests to find out, but because the tests cost money you said that you wouldn't do it and came here instead.
You don't sound like a very good owner, OP.

Your dog is old. Just end his pain and suffering already by putting him to sleep.

This, plus vaccines =/= shots. Some shots will deliver anti-inflammatory, antibiotic, painkiller, etc... Not all injections are created equal.
