So I found this little fellow in my university grounds. It's been a sort of attraction to the students and professors there. The bird doesn't seem to mind someone getting close, although I do make it a point to tell people not to get too close to it.
I'm just wondering what bird is this (just out of curiosity)?

Pretty sure it's a brahminy kite, but i'm not great at bird identification.

Maybe it was a typo so I don't want to be an ass, but it's always "species". I see a lot of people singularizing it when it shouldn't be since species is already singular.
