24/7 livestreamed virtual reality safari, from anywhere in the world.
Because zoos aren't great for saving large migratory animals and people just want to stare at animals anyway.
Someone take this idea and run with it in case something bad happens to me before I can.

And also because nature documentaries are more like a piece of art than an accurate depiction of the wild, as hard as they try to be the latter also.

What'll be next? 24/7 livestreamed VR forests, jungles, grasslands, savannas?

Hook me up to a 24/7 live ocean VR stream where I can travel to all of the world's most interesting scuba locations and I'll die happily.

Zoos are a very mixed bag. They kill more animals than they produce, but conversely, there are species that exist now that would be extinct without zoos.
I think it would be pretty cool to mount a gopro on a track that does a big circle around a well frequented by animals area in a wildlife refuge. Maybe have camera automatically move 50 feet down the track every couple hours. That'd be cool.

Some of us want to see animals in person.
You wouldn't be making this appeal if you'd ever been to Audobon Zoo/Aquarium. Seahorses, otters, all kinds of things a Cajun could only dream of seeing without captivity.
>Why do people go on trips? Can't they just look at pictures of other cities?

Yes zoos are great for saving odd species like the blackfooted ferret or the California condor but even Texan game ranches do a better job of keeping endangered animals alive and HAPPY.

I like how you didn't mention any land mammals, faggot. You know you don't want to see those because they don't even fucking move at the zoo.
