What the fuck
I swear i am not insane, is it possible cats can make human like sounds like say, parrots or mynah bird ?
My mother has heard it too and she is not insane either
The cat only talks periodically and doesn't say much but he did say among other things "you're welcome" and "yes" and "fine whatever"
I am French btw and the cat speaks French too
I don't get it
Maybe it's a very rare disease that makes the cat do human-like sounds ? I don't understand, please explain

Our cat did no, dad, now, mom, out, and dindin ( dinner) in. Context. Sometimes for things out of usual range of vowels capable of a cats mouth with ease would do what dogs do to warble in the throat. Did this for the word dad.

The french language might just be in the m,a,i,o,u,e range of sounds a cat is vocally confortable in.

We encouraged it, i think the cat learned to try from our boston terrier she was raised by him and he was vocal in dog, but would bark or warble for food. Rather he either was asked to sing (warble) or bark as different commands. The cat picked this up as a way to get treats as a kitten, it helped diversify her vocal controls and enforce communication as a way to get a response. From there the attempt to mimic some words.

Our other cat was not as smart though. So i think it takes a above average cat.

It did creep a few houseguests right the f out to have the cat warble "dad now" at 5am for breakfast.
