latest example of nomenclatural Cringe: https://phys.org/news/2017-08-motorhead-lemmy-dino-croc.html
ICodeZN used to have a clause deprecating trivialisation of scientific nomenclature, as well as others requiring binomials be properly formed, grammatically-correct and Latin-derived.
Sadly this is something else that barbaric, semi-literate americunts have dumbed-down so they can play at being scientists.
To my lasting embarassment, I worked with an autistic edgelord americunt who named a bunch of banal Ordovician trilobites after members of the Sex Pistols. How. Fucking. Pathetic.
It's a constant reminder of what a bunch of fedora-wearing sperged-out neckbeard permavirgins most scientists are.

>filename not take on me
There is a monkey called 'goldenpalace.com' but scientists didn't name it.

Glad it's probably just a synonym.

>All the top scientists and institutions in the world are just playing at being real scientists

Its not all the top scientists. Its some morons that had daddy pay for their school so they can play scientist. I completely agree with what the poster you're replying to has said.
These names are immature and should be thrown out.

These are fucking great. Its like the sonic hedgehog gene.
Being a scientist can sometimes be an incredibly dull and repetitive experience with a shit ton of writing papers. A bit of fun creeps in.
