Not yet but it is in the top three dogs I am going to own.

Done a shit load of research, have spoke to various breeders and TB clubs about it and they all maintain the breed isn't half as intimidating - or as demanding - as it's supposed to be.

Having cuddled them in real life, unless these were small examples, theyre also not as huge as all the pics make them look desu.

Standard care for any large livestock guardian.

My understanding is that chinks breed them to be big as a status symbol since family status is the most important thing there. But the true working lines tend to be smaller because there's no way a poor Tibetan/mongol nomad can feed a dog that huge regularly.

Don't get me wrong they are imposing dogs but the mass of hair (the sign of status) and tiny chink picture perspectives make them seem bigger than they are.

Most ancient or Eastern LGD dont eat as much as you'd think.
