Hello, /an/. I'm thinking of volunteering at local pic related and wonder if I'd be a good candidate. I have 5/5 experience raking shit and feeding hay, and I volunteer at a small museum where I handle/care for reptiles. I'm also working on a wildlife technology associates.
That sounds good, but I know they get thousands of fucking applications. I'm just trying to figure out if I'm interested in working with the zoo industry and if yes, also some solid experience.

It doesn't matter they get thousands of applications when you're doing all their work for free. They'd probably be delighted to get twice that many so they could fire their full time staff and save even more money. Why prostitute yourself out like this to make them rich on your sweat and labor? Shoveling dingo shit for free in the summer heat is the most degrading thing you can put yourself through. If you're going to volunteer at least make it for a worthwhile cause.
