That's right!
Today's example is Sand Fleas after some teen had THE FUCKING SKIN ON HIS FEET EATEN AWAY:

http://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/news/article.cfm?c_id=2&objectid=11899545

Followed by the classic, the Gympie Tree:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8HOIQjILUBg

A tree known as having a sting so painful that fucking HORSES are said to have committed suicide (by jumping off a cliff) after brushing up against it. Whether or not it's true- the pain is excruciating and the recommendation for removing the stingers from your body is to literally pour hydrochloric acid over the area in question. If you don't, it can release poisons for up to a year later.
It's said someone killed themselves after somehow wiping their ass with it while in camp in the wild (probably in just a random bunch for the forest floor).

I introduce to you the Giant Hogweed plant, an invasive species found in large numbers here in west coast Canada (and spreading).

Contact with the weed's clear, watery sap is extraordinarily dangerous.

What it does to you is pretty ugly. It causes blisters, large blisters and permanent scarring. What’s left over looks like a scar from a chemical burn or fire. It also results in painfull sensitivity to UV sunlight for the rest of your life.

Even a tiny trace of sap applied to the eye can singe the cornea, causing temporary or permanent blindness. The chemicals in the sap, furocoumarins, are carcinogenic and teratogenic, meaning they cause cancer and birth defects.

What a defense mechanism eh.

Rabies, to be honest.

It's not horrifying, it's just depressing I suppose. It's just a small disease that manifests itself possibly after months of not doing anything. It makes animals and people extremely agitated and paranoid, it prevents them from drinking any sort of liquid (People literally gag and spit up water they drink), and it's a death sentence. It's even against the law in most places to treat animals with rabies, so there's no forseeable cure, just hope that vaccinations will one day eradicate it.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8fbAFOMTp4
>>
>>2451541
I have read of 2 cases of it being cured with huge amounts of IV water and cooling the body temp. Basically the viruse is hydrophobic and thermophilic, reversing those conditions should logically kill the virus.
>>
>>2451559
I think there is also a protocol that involves putting the patient into a medically induced coma and just let the virus run its course.
>>
>>2451567
I believe what i said require the patient being put in a MIC so i think we have heard and are tqlking about the same thing

The thing about rabies is once the brain damage occurs it cannot be reversed. By the time symptoms manifest, it is already too late.

I had a few of these growing in my garden that had spread from my neighbour's trash-heap of a yard next door. I had no idea what they were and so when I was clearing the garden, I straight up tore them out of the ground with gloves on like I would a bramble. My hands were a bit sore but I assumed I was stung by a nettle or something. No blisters or scars though. Only found out today that they're toxic. My neighbour has loads of them in her garden, she lets her cats roam about there, are they toxic to animals?
